Infanta Old Church Ruins & Burial Grounds: Tracing Infantaโs Forgotten Stone Landscape

The first impression of the Infanta Old Church Ruins is less about scale than texture. What remains is a fragment of masonry rather than a complete church that can still be entered and experienced as an intact religious building. The municipality identifies the site with Barangay Miswa, where the ruins are accompanied by an old burial ground. In its 2021 annual report, the Municipality of Infanta specifically recorded a Memorandum of Understanding with the Prelature of Infanta for the preservation of the โold church ruins and burial groundโ in Miswa.
