Residents of the small town of Luna in the province of Isabela have a lot to be proud of. The town, originally known as Antatet, has been able to make its name in the region thanks to the rising popularity of Bato Art Festival, an event initiated by Luna to celebrate their artistic potential and take advantage of the growing reputation of its welcome population.

In recent years, Luna has participated in the annual Bambanti Festival, an event organizes annually by the provincial government of Isabela. Unsurprisingly, these efforts were met with great success as residents and visitors alike were captivated by the beauty and culture of Luna.

But there is more to Luna than just its culture. Bato Art, a form of art made from the extract of waste, has become a symbol of Luna’s potential for industry. By utilizing this waste, Luna’s creative and artistic potential have grown significantly, allowing interested citizens to turn their passions into income-generating activities.

Such initiatives have further highlighted Luna’s appeal as an emerging town. With this in mind, the celebration of local artwork through the Bato Art Festival and other artistic events is sure to be an ongoing process. Through dedication and hard work, Luna will continue to shine in Isabela’s cultural landscape.
