In addition to the collection of native animals that are indigenous to the Philippines, The Avilon Zoo also has a large collection of animals that have been successfully bred in captivity as part of the company’s conservation programs, of which more than half are endemic to the country. There are several conservation efforts being done to protect species in the wild, preserve endangered species, and protect the environment at the zoo as well.
