As the nation’s first ever world-class marine theme park, Manila Ocean Park is located in Ermita Manila, within the Philippines’ largest urban resort/aqua-themed hotel complex in addition to a premier educational institution, and is known as the Philippines’ first ever marine theme park.

The main attraction of the museum, the tunneled Oceanarium walkway, is made up of 3,000 cubic meters of seawater derived from Manila Bay. Throughout the oceanarium, a total of 14,000 marine creatures, most of which are native to Southeast Asia, thrive. The tunnelled oceanarium itself is often the most popular area of the park due to the magic and amazement it brings to the visitor, which is why it is so popular.

Additionally, the Manila Ocean Park has its own educational activity areas and facilities that can be used by children and people who want to learn more about the wonderful marine life that surrounds us. You can view stingrays and sharks up close and personal in a stingray and shark display, as well as facilities where you can actually take a dip with them up close.

Among the other attractions of the park are the Jellies’ Exhibit, which contains different species of Cnidarians and Jellyfish that are displayed in cylindrical viewing tanks. The trail to Antartica penguin facility, the Philippines’ first penguin facility, houses Humboldt Penguins. It is also worth noting that their breeding programs have been extremely successful, which is always a big plus.

The Birds of Prey Kingdom at Manila Ocean Park is a paradise for those who enjoy all types of animals, from land to flight, as it has a wide range of rare birds that have never been seen before. In addition to the aviary, there are also a number of other creatures in the World of Creepy Crawlies, such as arachnids, amphibians, reptiles, and many more.

It is also recommended that you take a trip down to the Manila Ocean Park’s massive grandstand before heading home, as the park offers a Sea Lion show, All Star Bird show, and a fountain symphony for those interested in watching. You can stay overnight at Manila Ocean Park and plan on exploring more of the wonders of the park next day by staying in Hotel H20, which boasts luxurious and grand rooms.
